Diomede Storage charges for the actual storage, bandwidth, and replication transactions used during the prior month. It's a simple utility pricing model where you pay for only what you have used. The minimum monthly fee is $3.00 per month, and there are no hidden fees or extra costs.

Online, Nearline, and Offline Storage

Diomede offers three different types of storage so that you can choose - and only need to pay for - the specific performance that your data requires. Diomede's Online storage is similar to competitor's offerings, and files are immediately available for download. Nearline storage may take up to 5 minutes to read the first byte (typically about 30 seconds), and Offline storage may take up to 4 hours to read the first byte (typically much less).

Storage types can be set on a per-file basis, and can even be mixed within individual files. For example, you may choose to store 3 copies of a file for redundancy, but keep 1 Online and 2 Offline to save on costs (and power) for those Offline backups. Or move all 3 copies to Offline storage - the choice is yours.
